Tai Chi classes at Centre Celf

Tai Chi is a gentle, slow, form of exercise, much recommended by the likes of the NHS and physiotherapists. It is often referred to as "meditation in movement". Instead of repeating the same movement many times, Tai Chi strings movements together in one continuous flow. Over time, Tai Chi has been shown to improve balance, joint flexibility and muscle tone.

We are a mixed ability group with a wide age range and no requirements or goals - just a desire to enjoy keeping the body in working order and the mind relaxed. We welcome beginners and experts both. We have a professional teacher, who is sponsored by the Mind organisation.

Mondays at 17.30 for, on alternate weeks, 1 hour and 1½ hours. We each pay £3 per session to cover costs.
