Celf o Gwmpas workshops
Tuesday Morning Workshops for Adults with Learning Disabilities
Our amazing Tuesday groups are made up of adults with learning disabilities who work with a range of professional artists to engage in creative practice, find a voice and be part of a community.
The Sewing Sessions for Young People
The Sewing Sessions runs monthly for young people with an interest in fashion and textiles. They are encouraged in self-expression, supported to learn and build their sewing skills and understanding of the fashion industry. We also support a monthly Sewing Session for adults.
Clwb Celf - Saturday Morning Art Club for Young People
Our joyous Saturday morning Art club offers young people the opportunity to work with local professional artists, trying out a wide variety of activities and materials, encouraging experimenting and creativity.
Weekly Creative Writing
Every Wednesday afternoon is a peer to peer Creative Writing session supported by Celf o Gwmpas. The sessions encourage expression and imagination whilst helping to build skills and encourage pleasure in writing.
Open Art room and Guided Discovery
Twice a week our Art room is open for people to use free of charge.
Guided Discovery is part of Wednesday’s open art room for adults. Between 11am - 1pm an artist is available to offer gentle guidance and inspiration.
Monthly Life Drawing
The last Wednesday of each month is a Life Drawing session supported by Celf o Gwmpas. Sometimes led by an experienced artist, other times participants have the opportunity to follow their own path, with support from members of the group if required.
