Clwb Celf - Saturday morning art club 1st July

This Saturday we have local author Kathy Biggs running creative writing sessions for Clwb Celf.

Each session will spark imagination, increase confidence and promote creative writing. The 9:30 - 10:30am session will revolve around an excerpt from a short story, read by Kathy, followed by the chance to ‘finish the story off’.

The 10:45 - 11:45am session will involve a ‘ten words for ten minutes’ exercise followed by a short exercise using prompt photographs and pictures cut out of magazines.

If you've never been before and want to see what we do, drop by and have a look, there’s no commitment to come every week but you never know, once you've been once you might want to come back again!

There are two sessions each Saturday, during term time, 9.30 - 10.30am for 10 year olds and under, 10.45am - 11.45am for 11 -16 year olds. Each week the young people get to work with a professional artist, learning a wide variety of skills in different mediums, from collage and painting to drawing and felting.

We ask that anyone 7 and under has a parent/carer stay with them, although if this is difficult for any reason we do have a support worker on the sessions who is there to support anyone who may need it.

There is no cost for the sessions. It is advisable to book in advance, especially the session for younger people which is very popular.
