Alison Finnieston

Our current exhibition is a selection of work by local artist Alison Finnieston.

Alison lives and works in Mid Wales and is very much engaged with the rural landscape which she inhabits. She is fascinated by the interaction between humankind, their artefacts and the environment. She has a particular interest in how this relationship has marked the landscape. This has a particular relevance today where the landscape is treated as a commodity. Alison’s work explores the complex, intriguing and potentially destructive relationships between humankind and the landscapes they occupy.

Alison conceives her art practice as having two strands: A fine art practice and a ceramic art practice.

We are open Tuesday -  Thursday 10am - 4pm, Saturday 9am - 12pm
