The Sewing Sessions

Are you 11 - 18 and interested in learning to sew, to recycle and repurpose clothes, then we have just the thing. Previous experience is not needed.

On Wednesday 29th & Thursday 30th November and Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th December, from 4 - 6pm, we are running The Sewing Sessions with local artist Jane Mason.

You will learn how to hand sew, use a sewing machine, alter, fix and mend clothes. In the first week you will make a bag, whilst the second week will be about bringing in items of clothes to adapt, change and restyle.

Jane has been repurposing and up-cycling clothes for many years, she has her own clothes line ‘Tatty Buys’ which she sells at festivals and events. Jane is passionate about making use of what’s already made and helping others to do the same.

And its FREE!! with thanks to the Radnor Fringe and National Lottery Community fund.

Spaces are limited so booking is essential. To book your place either ring 01597 822777 or email projects@celfogwmpas.org

The Sewing Sessions are being run as part of Engage Cymru Lets Create Art campaign. #LetsCreateArt2023
